Inclusion in social spaces extends far beyond the door, but the entrance is where it begins. Who is welcome? Who belongs? Door Policy Project aims to promote inclusive and transparent door policies, so that people with all different bodies can enjoy the night together.

Behavior-Based Screening
Promoting transparent door policies that focus on behavior and avoid the pitfalls of subjective, appearance-based screening (such as the engagement of implicit biases).
Gender Inclusivity
Helping create open atmospheres in which different gender identities, expressions, and presentations are welcome, avoiding gender identity or body-based screening.
Solidarity
Supporting venues and events in centering marginalized voices, and avoiding harmful practices like stereotyping and cultural appropriation.
